Washington County Memorial Hospital implemented its cardiac rehabilitation program in February of 1993.  Capabilities include stress testing, exercise, and patient education.  The department contains state-of-the-art exercise and stress testing equipment.

Candidates for cardiac rehabilitation include people who have had at least one of the following:

A Doctor or nurse practitioner referral is necessary for admission to the Cardiac Rehabilitation program.

For the patient's safety, the staff is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
