| March 2005 NewsletterOn Friday, February 25th, a "WCMH Luau" was held for hospital employees as a special treat. A free meal was provided and the cafeteria was brightly decorated. This event was primarily planned and implemented by Personnel Manager Hopie Jenkins with lots of assistance from Amber Coleman, Cyndi Basler, and Allan Sucharski. The WCMH Home Health Agency was surveyed for state licensure and continued participation in the Medicare Program March 2nd -7th . The agency is in full compliance with licensure regulations and no deficiencies were noted. The hospital's construction project continues on schedule, with many proposed revisions now being costed out, including video camera security systems, paging system, additional televisions for two locations in the cardiac trauma room, the inpatient nursing station and charting areas, and public restrooms off the main lobby. Washington County Memorial Hospital is proud to announce that Alliance Imaging, which provides mobile MRI service to WCMH every Tuesday, will also begin providing that service on-site each Saturday from 2 pm until 6 pm beginning this Saturday, March 19th. For information regarding our MRI service please call the hospital's Radiology Department at 573-438-5451 ext. 204. On Wednesday, March 30, 2005, the hospital held its annual Doctor's Day Dinner in recognition of our physicians and nurse practitioners. The dinner was well attended by physicians and employees. |
