The hospital's new telemetry system was installed on 9/7/04, training was held on 9/8/04, and the system went live on 9/9/04.

The 10th annual Washington County Health Fair, in which WCMH plays a major role and for which the planning takes many months, was held Saturday, September 18th at the Potosi Elementary School. Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to local health care providers as part of this year's fair. It appears that attendance was slightly lower than some previous years. WCMH laboratory personnel served 276 patients with blood testing, and other clinical departments offered educational information.
The initial meeting of the future Board of Directors of the Washington County Memorial Hospital Foundation was held Tuesday September 14th. Washington County Memorial Hospital is very excited to begin the process of a foundation establishment.
The hospital's existing Radiographic/Flouroscopic equipment is scheduled to be removed beginning tomorrow, September 22nd. That room will then be renovated and prepared for the new R&F equipment installation, which may take 3-4 weeks. Then the same process will be done in replacing and upgrading the basic Radiographic room.
