WCMH Laboratory is staffed 24 hours a day by specially trained and certified lab technicians, technologists, and phlebotomists.

The laboratory personnel are capable of obtaining specimens for hundreds of tests.   These tests are performed on site or they are sent to our reference lab, Quest Diagnostics in St. Louis, Missouri.

The laboratory provides services to inpatients, outpatients, and critical care patients in the Emergency Department.  Various tests are also performed on specimens obtained from nursing facilities and home health agencies.

A written order from a physician or nurse practitioner is required for all lab tests.
